*MISSISSIPPI* - HOMOCHITTO NATIONAL FOREST

Flatwoods Wild Camp Site has an "Easy" difficulty rating consisting of flat lowland bottomland hardwoods & pine species. There are several adequate areas for parking. The Starting Point is a small "burm" that leads way to an old woods trail from the gravel road that eventually fades away once in the woods.

The Wild Camp Site is very spacious and can accomodate 5-6+ tents/hammock shelters with room to spare. There is also a small cypress pond close by/coordinates given in Wild Camp Report. The Site is approx. 270 yards from Starting Point (one way). The Mature Hardwoods here limit the underbrush making for an extremely easy Hike in & out.
