*MISSISSIPPI* - HOMOCHITTO NATIONAL FOREST

Turkey Hollow Wild Camp has a "Moderate" difficulty rating consisting of hilly upland mixed hardwood & pine stands. There is adequate area for parking (easy turnaround) which could also be used as a "Car Camping" Site as well. The Starting Point is a wide grassy trail just off the small field parking area. At the end of the trail you will turn South at the big Pine and Hike off-trail. Total distance from Starting Point to Wild Camp is just a little over 500 yards.

The Wild Camp Site can accomodate 2-3 tent/hammock shelters. Gently rolling Downhill Travel to Camp, Uphill Travel leaving Camp. Lookout here for Deer & Turkeys.
